Elli's Beautiful Autumn Poem
For Friday poetry in Week 2, we wrote Autumn poems using a set format. We had to think of 'juicy' adjectives, interesting similes and metaphors and creative words to describe movement.
Elli gained a certificate from the Principal for her Autumn Poem:
Autum
Blazing hot red and orange leaves,
The leaves are smoothly glazing along the dirtiest ground in a huge muddy soily pot.
They fall to the ground gently.
They move softly along the bumpy ground.
Soft, crispy in the sun. Crunchy.
It's like... a leave shower as big as a raindrop.
They are so crunchy that they are easy to rip apart.
The leaves move eit the rattling noises together.
I like the sound of leaves going along the ground.

Red Nose Day Song
You make the whole world smile,
with your little button nose.
Your itty bitty feet and your tiny
little toes.
Even in the still of night when your
a little so and so.
You make the whole world smile.
You make the whole world smile,
when you light up like the sun.
The laughter in your eyes bringing
joy to everyone.
So we will all sing this song,
and we'll beat upon the drum.
You make the whole world smile.
Let love flow through your soul,
Let it in, Let it in
Look into your heart,
come on play your part
Lets begin.
